THE PALESTINIAN WOMEN'S LIBRARY

Inspired by the Alex Odeh Memorial Library established by SJP at UCLA, we established the Palestinian Women's Library at the inception of our first studio in Orland Park, Illinois. We named it in honor of all the unrecognized labor Palestinian women have invested in our collective survival, thriving, and liberation. This is a growing public library of texts on Palestine. Our community is able to come in and check out books often unavailable in public institutions. This is one part of how we aim to give back to and empower our immediate community.
