Feature a bit of traditional Palestinian art as part of your everyday wardrobe. Our culture, after all, is part of our resistance!
- This pair of earrings features the phrase "Habaytak Bilseif" ("I loved you in the summer"), the title of a famed Fairuz song (and one of our favorites!), written in a blocked, tatreez-like style. Each side drops from a gold jasmine flower adorned with a single rhinestone. We wanted to capture the nostalgia Fairuz's music always evokes with the presence of this yasmeen flower. What else could best describe a summer's evening like this?
- Measures about 2 inches in length.
- Made of a gold mirror acrylic; the earring studs are made of a gold-plated metal.
- Care: though these are made from a very strong material, the earrings should be handled with care to extend their wear and avoid scratching/general damage. When putting on or taking off the earrings, be careful to ensure longevity of the pieces.
