DESCRIPTION
Feature a bit of traditional Palestinian art as part of your everyday wardrobe. Our culture, after all, is part of our resistance!
The Arabic calligraphy, the work of a Gazan calligraphy artist, comes from "On This Land" from Unfortunately, It Was Paradise--a famed poem by Palestinian author, Mahmoud Darwish. The line "كانت تسمى فلسطين، صارت تسمى فلسطين" translates to "She was called Palestine, she came to be called Palestine".
