This shirt was inspired by the tatreez (Palestinian embroidery) samplers women often make in their journey of practicing the craft and learning how to traverse sewing new motifs. The tatreez symbols featured here primarily center on floral motifs, which are especially common in Ramallah embroidery. After all, Palestinian women took inspiration from their surroundings--like local floral and fauna.
